Who We Are

A Social Enterprise that aims to place the lost value back onto food as something that should be eaten and not thrown away. Through Grub Cycle, we’re raising awareness of food waste by making surplus food accessible to buy at a bargain price. Part of the proceeds go to subsidising the cost of basic food necessities for marginalised communities

Meet The Team

Redza, co-founder

An accounting graduate from UiTM Shah Alam, he spent his first 3 years at Worley Parsons working in finance within the oil & gas industry and then decided to put his numbers skills to help startups at Qeerad. Armed with 2 years startup investment experience, he ventured into social entrepreneurship and finally decided to joined MaGIC’s accelerator program and launched Grub Cycle with three friends.

Asyraf, co-founder

A civil engineering graduate whose passion is to make the world a better place. He was regularly involved with social activism when he was studying abroad in which he is looking to bring back his valuable experiences he has accumulated and continuously give back to the society. With Grub Cycle, he intends to waste less and share more of what he as well as what most Malaysians love, food.

Hawanisa, co-founder

A legal advocate turned social entrepreneur. After graduating her LLB (Hons.) (Bachelor of Laws),  she spent two years practicing as an advocate in the banking and corporate field. She has 3 years of experience in social work for different categories of underprivileged group especially on economic and education empowerment. With her passion for creating an impact on society, her involvement with Grub Cycle is a platform for her to use the skills and knowledge she is equipped with to bring more solutions to the table in combating food wastage.

Chacha, co-founder

A bachelor of communication and broadcasting from UTAR who always has a passion in helping people. Has vast corporate experiences over many different fields that complement each other despite being at a young age where few of his stints were in a food media company, video production company, social enterprises and currently trading his skills in security company. Due to his passions in food, he decided to join Grub Cycle to ensure that all food are valued in the right way
